Charlize Theron makes Forbes top 10 highest-paid actresses in the world

Cape Town – Charlize Theron is among the highest paid actresses in the world – raking in more than R350 million last year!

The South African-born actress made the Forbes list for highest paid actresses, coming in at number nine after failing to make the list the previous year.

According to Forbes, Scarlett Johansson topped the list for a second year in a row, earning $56 million (R2,8 billion). This includes an eight-figure cheque she received for her upcoming film, Black Widow.

Other A-listers included in Hollywood’s rich list are Elizabeth Moss and Margot Robbie. This is the first time both actresses have made the cut while the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Sophia Vergara make a return, digitalspy.com reports.

Charlize isn’t the only South African raking in the cash. Comedian Trevor Noah has made the highest paid comedians list, earning an estimated R430 million from comedy last year.
