Charlize Theron to play Megyn Kelly in movie about Fox News chairman Roger Ailes

Cape Town – Back in 2016 Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes was accused of sexual harassment and misconduct from several female journalists and anchors at the conservative network and later resigned.

One of the biggest names that made allegations against Ailes was popular anchor Megyn Kelly. The broadcast veteran described the harassment in her 2016 memoir Settle for More. Ailes died in May 2017 and denied her allegations against him.

Fast forward to May 2018 when The Hollywood Reporter says that South African actress Charlize Theron and director Jay Roach are joining forces to bring Alies downfall to the big screen. Theron is set to star as Kelly in the unnamed project as well as produce it.

South African audiences can currently catch Theron on the big screen in Tully which is currently in theatres
