Christian Bale in talks to star in 'Thor: Love and Thunder'

Cape Town – Christian Bale is in talks to star in Thor: Love and Thunder though "details are being kept in Odin's Vault", according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Neither Bale nor Disney have commented on the news yet.

We can confirm that Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman will all reprise their roles in the film and Taika Waititi will return as director following the success of 2017's Thor: Ragnarok. 

Christian Bale was previously part of the DC universe playing Batman in Christopher Nolan's Dark Night trilogy.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set for release in 2021.
