Cape Town - Colin Farrell who stars in the live-action version of Dumbo has revealed his favourite Disney movie.
In Dumbo, which releases in SA cinemas of Friday, 29 March, he plays Holt Farrier a former circus star who finds his life turned upside down when he returns from World War I.
When he is asked by the circus owner to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock, Holt doesn’t exactly jump at the opportunity - but his children do, which opens the door to a future bond he never saw coming.
During an interview with Cover Media, Colin revealed that he never watched the original movie as a child and that his favourite movie is The Jungle Book.
He also shared his thoughts on live-action movies saying: "I think they're fun. I get why some people get a little bit perturbed. I think people are afraid in revisiting this material as it sort of questions people's youth. There's a lot of nostalgia involved. But I think it is okay to retell these stories."
