Did Vin Diesel just confirm a female-led Fast and the Furious spin-off?

Cape Town – It looks as though the Fast and the Furious movie franchise is getting another spin-off and this time the ladies are in charge.

The main man of the film series, Vin Diesel shared a nugget of information suggesting that they already have a writing team together for what will be the second spin-off.

"As you know, there are three new spinoffs that We have promised Universal... well this week we heard a pitch for the Fast female protagonist driven spin-off I created in 2017, and you can tell by the smile on Samantha’s face it was VERY exciting. Shout out to Nicole Perlman, Lindsey Beer, Geneva Robertson-Dworet. Welcome to the Fast FAMILY....[sic]," Vin wrote alongside a photo of himself and his sister, Samantha Vincent.
