First look at footage from the new James Bond flick

Cape Town – There has been a lot of off-screen drama on the set of Bond 25 – from Daniel Craig injuring his ankle, an explosion on set and even an arrest

To offset the bad press, the studio has released some behind-the-scenes footage of the on-screen drama in the new film.

The 28-second clip sees Bond riding around on the island, director Cary Fukunaga doing his thing behind the camera and gives us a first look at Lashana Lynch as Nomi and Jeffrey Wright returning as Felix Leiter.

According to the official synopsis 007 has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help.The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Oscar-award winning actor Rami Malek will play the villain.
