First look at young Dumbledore in the trailer for Fantastic Beasts sequel

Cape Town – Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Eddie Redmayne returns as magical zoologist Newt Scamander in the sequel to the 2016 blockbuster.

The Crimes of Grindelwald picks up a few months after the original. Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) has escaped and is gathering more followers for his cause.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

The film releases in SA cinemas in November 2018.
