FIRST LOOK: Felicity Jones as Supreme Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Cape Town – Felicity Jones will play Ruth Bader Ginsburg in a new biopic. 

On The Basis of Sex centres on the inspiring true story that follows young lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg as she teams with her husband Marty to bring a ground-breaking case before the Supreme Court and overturn a century of gender discrimination.

Armie Hammer will play her husband while other cast members include Kathy Bates, Justin Theroux, Sam Waterston, Jack Reynor and Stephen Root.

Universal Pictures released the first official image of Jones in character as production kicked off.
