Harrison Ford says Indiana Jones ends with him

Cape Town – Harrison Ford has weighed in on who should play Indiana Jones after him.

The 76-year-old will reprise his role as the fictional professor of archaeology in the fifth movie scheduled to be released in 2021.

During an interview on the Today Show, Harrison made it very clear that he is not here for a reboot or another actor taking over this iconic role.

When host Craig Melvin asked the Star Wars actor who he thinks should take over the role he replied: "Nobody is going to be Indiana Jones, don't you get it? I'm Indiana Jones. When I'm gone, he's gone. It's easy."

He went on to apologise to Chris Pine, "This is a hell of a way to tell Chris Pine. I'm sorry, man."

Harrison might have gotten his Chrises mixed up as there were rumours that Chris Pratt could take over the lasso from him.

Los Angeles - Chris Pratt is wanted to star in a new Indiana Jones movie. The 35-year-old star is being lined up by Disney which bought the rights to the popular franchise from Paramount in 2013 to appear in the role of the archaeologist, who was previously played by Harrison Ford.
