Here's who will be voicing Iago the parrot in Aladdin

Cape Town - Disney's long-time voice actor Alan Tudyk is set to take on the voice of parrot Iago in Guy Ritchie's live-action remake of Aladdin.

Iago is the sidekick of villain Jafar, played by Marwan Kenzari. 

Alan has starred in a number of other animations by the studio including: Wreck-It Ralph, Moana and Rogue One: A Star War Story.

The live-action movie stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Will Smith as the Genie.

The film is scheduled to be released on Friday, 24 May.

Cape Town - Disney's teaser trailers for the upcoming live-action version of Aladdin has been meet with some apprehension. Directed by Guy Ritchie, it stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Will Smith as the Genie.
