Jake Gyllenhaal auditioned for <em>Lord of the Rings</em> and really sucked at it

Cape Town – Jake Gyllenhaal recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and revealed some of his biggest career secrets.

Like the fact that he auditioned for the role of Frodo Baggins in Lord of the Rings as well as a role in Dude, Where’s My Car?

According to Jake his LOTR audition went so bad that Peter Jackson actually called him "the worst actor ever" and told him to "fire his agents".

We of course all know that Jake is the best actor in the world ever. #OurBae
