Judi Dench defends Kevin Spacey

Cape Town - Dame Judi Dench has spoken up to defend her "good friend" Kevin Spacey and hit out of him being replaced in All the Money in the World.

The disgraced actor was cut from the Ridley Scott film following the sexual misconduct allegations against him. A month before the film's release Christopher Plummer replaced him.

Dench was honoured for her career achievements at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain.
