Local actress shares details about SA blockbuster

Cape Town – Step aside Kardashians. There's another family to keep up with.

South African comedy Keeping up with the Kandasamys, opened in cinemas over the weekend.

The film opened at number 3 at the box office ranking in R1.6m.

Set in Chatsworth, the film centres on  two matriarchal rivals of neighbouring families who do their best to keep their young adult children apart when they become romantically involved.

Jailoshini Naidoo who plays Jennifer told us more about her role and the film.

"My character is a little bit of a snob, she is very cool, very detached. She's in control, a very less is more character," says Jaloishini. 

 She continues, "It's a colour, vibrant movie with fantastic performances from everyone."
