M-Net is getting a Fast and Furious movie channel

Johannesburg - Following the massive success of movie pop-up channels such as Star WarsHarry PotterInspire and James Bond, M-Net Movies is upping the entertainment ante.

A Fast and Furious pop up channel will hit the small screen just in time for the release of the much-anticipated eighth instalment of the Fast Franchise: a franchise like no other, a series of action movies with an all-star ensemble cast, centred around super cars, imposssible heists, adrenaline pumping stunts and honouring family.

The film releases in cinemas on Friday, 14 April. 

National Movies Day

Do you love movies with a devotion bordering on obsession? 

It is no secret that the team at M-Net Movies are obsessed with movies and for this reason they have been running the popular National Movies Day campaign! 

Join the obsessed with movies team for an all-day outdoor movie spectacle at Johannesburg Zoo in Johannesburg or Cape Town Castle in Cape Town to celebrate National Movies Day on Friday, 31 March from 12:00 until 20:30.

The National Movies Day at these venues will be fun-filled with picnics, entertainment, food trucks and celebrities. 

To top it off M-Net Movies are running a competition where you can stand a chance to win four tickets to attend the National Movies Day event (T&C’s apply). To enter the competition, go to mnet.tv/nationalmoviesday

Winners will be verified and announced on Lalla Land and on M-Net Social Media pages on Friday, 24 March 2017.

M-Net Movies Collection

The recently launched M-Net Movies Collection also adds to the breadth of M-Net’s movie offering. 

The M-Net Movies Collection comprises of more than 1000 movies and is available on DStv Catch Up Plus, accessible to customers when they connect their DStv Exploras to the internet. 

The collection is also accessible on the DStv Catch Up section on DStv Now online and on the app. DStv Premium customers can choose what movie they would like to watch, when it suits them best.
