Cape Town - Margot Robbie is set to star in the live-action Barbie movie after both Amy Schumer and Anne Hathaway left the project.
Sony announced the making of the film in 2014, however since then it has suffered some setbacks.
I Feel Pretty actress Amy Schumer originally signed on for the role but later withdrew due to scheduling conflicts.
Shortly thereafter, Anne Hathaway was tipped to be taking over from Amy after the Trainwreck actress hinted on Instagram that the Devil Wears Prada actress would be perfect for the role.

Now, Margot Robbie is taking on the role with The Hollywood Reporter writing that Mattel is partnering with Warner Bros. for the feature film.
Margot will also reportedly produce the film through LuckyChap Entertainment.
