McSteamy to star alongside Pearl Thusi in new movie

Cape Town – Eric Dane, better known as McSteamy, has joined the cast of the international heist thriller, Blue Mauritius.

The exciting news was shared on the film's Facebook page.

The film is about five international thieves hired by a mysterious person from Mauritius to steal the most valuable stamps in the world.

South African presenter and actress Pearl Thusi, local supermodel turned actress Nicola Breytenbach and actor Deon Lotz, have landed major roles in the film. 

The film will be produced by New York based D Street Pictures and Cape Town’s Kaapland Films.

Cape Town based producers Tim Theron and Cobus van den Berg have been developing the project with their American counterparts.

Meanwhile Pearl has been hard at work training for her role as Makeda, a sexy, gun toting, motorcycle riding femme fatale.
