Michael B Jordan to be honoured at the Santa Barbara film festival

Cape Town - Michael B. Jordan will be awarded with the Cinema Vanguard Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival next year.

The actor will be honoured for his work in Black Panther and Creed II at the festival which will take place from 30 January to 9 February. 

According to Variety the award recognises actors who have forged their own path, taking artistic risks and making a significant and unique contribution to film.
