Cape Town - Michelle Pfeiffer gave Zoë Kravitz some helpful advice on playing Catwoman in the new Batman movie.
On Tuesday director Matt Reeves announced that the Big Little Lies actress will take on the role of Selina Kyle/Catwoman in the 2021 reboot with Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader.
Michelle played the character in the 1992 film, Batman Returns directed by Tim Burton.
During an appearance on Good Morning America to promote her new movie, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil the 61-year-old had practical advice for Zoë.
"Make sure, whilst designing the costume, they consider how you're going to go to the bathroom — minor detail," said Michelle.

Former Catwomen, Anne Hathaway who starred in The Dark Knight Rises and Halle Berry who starred in the standalone 2004 fantasy Catwoman also congratulated Zoë.
Anne wrote on Instagram: "The biggest congrats to @zoeisabellakravitz on landing the role of a lifetime. Well, one life anyway... Enjoy the ride, Selina."
