Movie goers are in for a treat

Movie lovers are in for a thrill this holiday season. To answer to their need  for cutting-edge, premium entertainment experiences,  Ster-Kinekor recently launched  D-BOX, an immersive motion cinema seating D-technology. The D-BOX will be available at four theatres in Johannesburg  including The Zone Rosebank and Mall of Africa), Cape Town (Cavendish Square), and Durban (Gateway Shopping Mall). Each theatre will be equipped with 50 D-BOX seats, amongst the regular seating. 
 
D-BOX uses   imagination through the power of motion by moving your body using extraordinary precision and hyper-realistic vibrations.   This movie technology also delivers a whole new level of immersive entertainment that connects movie  goers  to the movie they  are watching . This allows   movie lovers to feel every scene as if they were in it. In addition, the line between the watcher  and the screen, it creates highly believable experiences that pull movie lovers into the story in ways they  never thought imaginable.
