Cape Town – Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler's latest movie together has made history on Netflix.
According to the streaming service, the film Murder Mystery has the biggest opening for an original film.
The account "Netflix is a joke" tweeted that 30 869 863 accounts have watched the film which dropped on 14 June in its first three days – 13 374 914 accounts in the US and Canada, and 17 494 949 more worldwide.

Murder Mystery is the second movie the pair have done together and also stars South African actor John Kani.
It centres on an NYC cop (Adam) who finally takes his wife (Jennifer) on a long-promised European trip, a chance meeting on the flight gets them invited to an intimate family gathering on the Super Yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince (Terence Stamp). When Quince is murdered, they become the prime suspects in a modern-day whodunit.
John takes on the role of Colonel Ulenga.
