Only one person in the UK went to watch Shia LaBeouf's new movie

Cape Town – Shia LaBeouf's new thriller, Man Down didn’t do very well during its opening week in the UK. 

In fact only one cinema ticket was sold making its total income at the box office £7 (R117).

According to Variety the film played in one location, Reel Cinema in Burley. 

The film was also released on demand and will be available on DVD and Blue Ray in May. 

In Man Down Shia plays US Marine Gabriel Drummer who after returning from Afghanistan goes in search for his estranged wife (Kate Mara) and son (Charlie Shotwell).

The film first premiered at Venice International Film Festival in 2015 and was released in the US in December 2016. 

A South African release date is yet to be announced.
