Pamela Anderson might just be in the Baywatch movie

Los Angeles - Pamela Anderson has teased she could have a part in the Baywatch movie.

The 48-year-old actress starred in the TV drama series as blonde bombshell lifeguard C.J. Parker and has revealed she might make an appearance, if a better offer is put on the table than the one already presented.

Despite rejecting film bosses the first time around, she teased: "I haven't turned it down completely yet. But I have turned down what they offered me. We'll see what happens ... I haven't even read the script. I have no idea what it's about."

Pamela has been replaced in the 2017 movie as C.J. by fellow blonde stunner Kelly Rohrbach, and seemingly hated the idea of the remake which also stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Zac Efron, when it was announced last year.

She said: "No one appreciates the remakes."

But she now considers the title a "homage" to the series, which ran from 1989 to 2001, and admits it would be an "honour" to be a part of it because it played a huge part in her life and career.

She told ET Canada: "Baywatch was such a huge part of my life. And really they're trying to do an homage and you know it's an honour to have them to want me to be a part of it so bad."

Meanwhile, Paramount Pictures has announced that filming has started on Thursday, 25 February.

Dwayne Johnson shared these pictures on set on his Instagram account.

The film will be shoot in Miami and Savannah.

Baywatch is set to be released in May 2017.
