Paul McCartney reveals his Pirates look

Cape Town  - Paul McCartney shared a first look of his character in the latest instalment of the Pirates franchise.

The rocker filmed a cameo appearance for Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge aka Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

In the picture McCartney looks every bit the pirate with long hair, bandana and pirate's hat, he is also holding a hand of cards.

E! Online earlier reported that he will play a jail guard. 

McCartney is not the first rocker to appear in the franschise. 

Keith Richards played Captain Teague, the father of Depp's Jack Sparrow.
