London – Benjamin Walker, in a South African exclusive interview, revealed that the cast went through three stages of hunger during their weight loss regime on the set of the  American biographical, In The Heart of The Sea.

The American actor told Channel24’s Leandra Engelbrecht during a sit-down interview in London that it was “rough” on set.

“To be hungry and cranky is just the first stage. The second stage everyone gets emotional and gets their feelings hurts and there’s a lot of crying,” said Walker.

He added, “The third phase is that you’re brain dead and you’re staring into nothing. I’m excited to do a movie where you just eat.”
