Sony keeps us in suspense with the first teaser for Venom

Cape Town – Sony Pictures has just released the first teaser trailer for Venom. 

Recently we got a first look at Tom Hardy not as the alter ego villain but as Eddie Brock. (Read more here)

Keeping up the suspense the teaser still doesn’t show any sign of Venom.

The clip comprises of a number of scenes with a voiceover from Brock.

He can be heard saying: “Everyone's got their thing. Maybe it’s a break-up, a death, an accident. Whatever it is you used to be one thing, now you're something else. We all have our own problems, our own issues, our own demons.”

We also get a first look at Michelle Williams as Ann Weying, the ex-wife of Eddie Brock and Riz Ahmed who is rumoured to be playing Carnage.
