Sylvester Stallone hints Creed 2 storyline

Cape Town – While an official Creed sequel has yet to be confirmed it hasn't stopped Sylvester Stallone from hinting at a possible storyline.

The Rocky actor shared a photoshopped picture of Dolph Lundgren and Michael B. Jordan in the ring. 

Alongside it he wrote: "Here's a chance to stretch your imagination ... History will always repeat itself in one form or another, just got to be ready!... Sins of the Father.... #creed2 # agentnickyc #rockybalboa"

If you're a Rocky fan you'll know that in the 1985 movie Apollo Creed died in the rings at the hands of the Russian boxer Ivan Drago (Lundgren). Rocky went on to avenge his death in the film.

It sure will make an interesting plot if Adonis (Jordan) goes on to avenge his father's death with a younger Drago maybe his son? Hence, Sly's hint 'Sins of the Father.'

This wasn't the actor's only tease. He has posted another image of Rocky IV with the caption: "The two best "cinema" boxers that ever lived!… Maybe it's time to try to again?"

Entertainment Weekly reached out to Stallone's representatives to find out more about the movie and whether or not a sequel is the works but they responded that they had nothing to add.
