Cape Town - Taron Egerton has shared that when he was initially approached to play Robin Hood in a new movie, he turned the idea down.
He thought that fans wouldn't be ready just yet for another film about the infamous English outlaw, since Russel Crowe had played him on the big screen in 2010.
In the latest retelling, Robin of Loxley (Egerton) a war-hardened Crusader and his Moorish commander (Jamie Foxx) mount an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown in a thrilling action-adventure packed with gritty battlefield exploits, mind-blowing fight choreography, and a timeless romance.
