The full trailer for Aladdin reveals music, magic and another look at Will Smith's genie

Cape Town – Disney’s teaser trailers for the upcoming live-action version of Aladdin has been meet with some apprehension.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, it stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Will Smith as the Genie.

While the first one didn’t give much away it was basically a frame by frame of the opening shot of the 1992 animation. (Read more here)

The second teaser trailer had everyone talking and not for right reasons. Released during the Grammys it showed a blue CGI Smith as the genie and people weren’t having it.

Cape Town - We don't think anybody was ready for this one! Disney released the first look of Will Smith as the Genie in the Aladdin remake . The 1 minute teaser was unveiled during the Grammy Awards showed more scenes from the upcoming film including: another look at Princess Jasmine, Aladdin and Agrabah and Jafar taking Aladdin into the Cave of Wonders.

On Tuesday the studio finally released the full length trailer giving viewers a more detailed look into the world of Aladdin.

We get a closer look at the Genie who really doesn’t seem that bad after all and we even get a taste of Mena and Naomi singing, A Whole New World.
