Cape Town – Everyone's favourite duo is returning to the Golden Globes stage.

Hot on the heels of the 2020 edition NBC announced that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the 2021 ceremony.

This will be the comedic duo's fourth time hosting. They previously hosted in 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Chairman of NBC Entertainment Paul Telegdy, said in a press release, "NBC has long been the home to two of the funniest people on the planet – Tina Fey and Amy Poehler – and we didn't want to wait any longer to share the great news that they'll be hosting the Globes once again."

CNN reports that when Tina and Amy hosted the show in 2013, it received the highest ratings in six years.

Comedian Ricky Gervais hosted the Globes for the fifth time this year. The controversial comedian didn't hold back as he kicked off the glitzy night emphasising that he's "never doing this again" and that he "doesn't care" about the show and "never has".
