Val Kilmer will join Tom Cruise in Top Gun sequel

Los Angeles - Val Kilmer has officially joined the cast of Top Gun: Maverick, opposite Tom Cruise.

The highly-anticipated sequel to the 1986 movie classic now has its two original leads in place, with sources revealing that Val will reprise his aviator character Tom 'Iceman' Kazansky, in the project.
