WATCH: Charlize Theron is very hard to kill in the trailer for 'The Old Guard'

Earlier this month, Netflix released first look images of Charlize Theron in the action film, The Old Guard.

The film which is based on the graphic novel series by Greg Rucka follows a group of ancient warriors who have been protecting the world for centuries.

When the team, led by Andy (Theron) is recruited to take on an emergency mission, and their extraordinary abilities are suddenly exposed, it's up to Andy and Nile (Kiki Layne), the newest soldier to join their ranks, to help the group eliminate the threat of those who seek to replicate and monetise their power by any means necessary.

The 2-minute trailer is action-packed with the warriors rising up after a shootout, scenes from their past lives, and the first look at Chiwetel Ejiofor's character.
