Cape Town – Chris Evans might not have the Captain America shield in his latest movie, but he's still a hero.
In Gifted, he plays Frank Adler a single man raising a child prodigy – his young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace).
He plans for Mary to have a normal school life but her mathematical abilities come to the attention of his formidable mother Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan) who threatens to separate Frank and Mary.
The film also stars Oscar winner Octavia Spencer and Jenny Slate.
The combination of Chris and the charming Mckenna makes this drama one that will tug at your heart strings.
