WATCH: Delicious new Afrikaans flick to hit the big screen

Cape Town – South Africa's darling Anna-Mart van Der Merwe returns to the big screen in the romantic comedy, Dis Koue Kos, Skat.

Based on the popular novel by Marita van der Vyver the story, which first made its stage debut, is now a film adaptation.

When Clara Brand (van Der Merwe) discovers that her husband (Deon Lotz) is cheating on her with friend and colleague, her life crumbles. 

Following the advice from her best friend, Clara decides to start over and packs her bags and moves to Cape Town with her two kids. 

She rediscovers her passion for food, starts new friendships and re-enters the dating world. 

The film also stars: Elzabe Zietsman, Frank Opperman and Angelique Gerber.
