WATCH: Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson give us a taste of what to expect in The Jungle Cruise

Cape Town – Filming for Disney’s The Jungle Cruise has begun.

The film is loosely inspired by a theme park attraction of the same name.

It centres on a boat captain (Dwayne Johnson), who takes a sister (Emily Blunt) and brother (Jack Black) on a mission into a jungle to find a tree believed to possess healing powers. The trio must fight against dangerous wild animals and a competing German expedition.

To announce the start of production Blunt and Johnson filmed a cute video showing off their awesome chemistry. 

And what can we expect from the film? It is a love story and it’s going to be the adventure of a lifetime.
