Cape Town - Jennifer Lopez just received some amazing news!
The world renowned singer and actress recently learned she was nominated for her first Golden Globe in 20 years for her role as Ramona in 2019 film Hustlers, E News reported.
The 50-year-old, who’s nominated in the best performance by an actress in a supporting role in a motion picture category, shared a short clip on her Instagram page in which she broke the exciting news and thanked the Hollywood Foreign Press for the honour.
“Hi guys I’m just waking up and I just heard that I got nominated for best performance actress for a Golden Globe,” she said excitedly.
“. . . It’s been 20 years since I was nominated . . .” J Lo added
“Hustlers was a labour of love, sweat and perseverance written, directed, produced, edited and starring a group of bad-ass women,” she captioned the post.

The songstress’s fiancé, Alex Rodriquez, also took to social media to congratulate her.
"So proud to see Jennifer receive her well-deserved @goldenglobes nomination for her role as Ramona in @hustlersmovie!" Alex wrote on Instagram.
