WATCH: John Boyega suits up for war in Pacific Rim Uprising’s first trailer

Cape Town – The official trailer for Pacific Rim Uprising is finally here!

A sequel to the 2013 sci-fi monster film, Pacific Rim Uprising takes place 10 years after the original and stars John Boyega as Jake Pentecost, jaeger pilot and the son of Stacker Pentecost (Idris Elba).

In the trailer Boyega is fighting some massive new Kaijus in awesome new Jaegers to protect the Earth from an invasion.

Pacific Rim Uprising is set for release on 23 March 2018 in the US.
