WATCH: Leandie Du Randt and Bouwer Bosch team up in new police buddy comedy

Cape Town - The trailer for Thys & Trix, the hilarious action comedy with Leandie du Randt Bosch and Bouwer Bosch in the lead roles, has just been released.

Thys and Trix are siblings and eager yet helpless police officers. Thys is a well-meaning bungler and Trix a rude, sexy tomboy. Their constant feud, as well as the fact that they’ve struggled to work together as a team since childhood, lead to their expulsion from the police service after they yet again embarrass their department.

Detective Solomons, a seasoned and dedicated inspector, is investigating the activities of a crime syndicate in a highly unlikely location: an exclusive golf estate outside Mossel Bay.

However, there is one problem. Solomons won’t be able to ‘blend in’ at the estate and because of their ‘vanilla appearance’, Thys and Trix are singled out, for the first time ever, as the most competent team to lead an investigation. Solomons will accompany them, but is not impressed with the fact that he’ll be their ‘butler’.

Trix realises this is her last chance to prove herself as a competent police officer and Thys knows this is his final opportunity to save the complicated relationship with his sister. However, the fact that the siblings have to pretend to be a married couple to make the investigation credible, complicates the situation, often with unexpected, far-reaching and hysterical consequences.
