WATCH: Lemogang Tsipa tells us how he became a canoeist for new local film

Cape Town – South African actor Lemogang Tsipa makes his big screen debut in the new local film Beyond the River.

Channel24 caught up with Lemogang to find out more about how he prepared for his character, Duma.

Inspired by the true story of Siseko Ntondini and Piers Cruickshanks, who together won gold in the 2014 Dusi, Beyond the River delivers a nail-biting adventure story about the triumph of the human spirit.

After another near miss with the law, Duma (Tsipa) is forced back into the world of canoeing, and in so doing his passion and dream to paddle the Dusi is reignited. (Read more about the film here)
