Cape Town – The final trailer for the Joker takes us deeper into the super villain's dark backstory.
Warner Bros released the promotional clip on Wednesday days ahead of the film's premiere at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday.
The first original standalone directed by Todd Phillips centres on Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a comedian who turns to a life of crime in Gotham City.
In recent interview Joaquin revealed that he was initially afraid to commit to taking on the role which was also made famous by Heath Ledger, Jack Nicholson, and more recently Jared Leto. (Read more here)
