Cape Town – Newcomer Robert Eggers' The Witch is set to be one of the scariest movies of the year.
Set in 17th Century New England a farmer relocates his wife and children to a remote plot of land on the edge of a very creepy looking forest.
It’s not long before strange things start happening on their new farm: animals turn malevolent, crops fail, and one child disappears as another becomes possessed by an evil spirit.
The film stars: Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Ineson, Kate Dickie, Harvey Scrimshaw, Ellie Grainger and Lucas Dawson.
The latest teaser of the film will put anyone off playing the childhood game peek-a-boo.
