Cape Town – In July Paramount released the first teaser trailer for Top Gun: Maverick at San Diego Comic-Con.
Tom Cruise reprises his role as Maverick in the Top Gun sequel set 34 years after the previous film.
On Monday the studio released a second trailer giving fans their first look at Miles Teller, who plays the son of Nick "Goose" Bradshaw.
From the opening dialogue, it appears Tom's character will be training a new generation of pilots played by Glenn Powell, Danny Ramirez and Monica Barbaro.
"Your instructor is one of the finest pilots this program has ever produced. His exploits are legendary. What he has to teach you may very well mean the difference between life and death," says an unidentified voice.
