WATCH: Winnie the Pooh comes to life in new teaser

Cape Town – Another Winnie the Pooh story is making its way to the big screen. 

Disney has released the first teaser trailer for the live action adventure Christopher Robin.

The story is inspired by A. A. Milne's book Winnie-the-Pooh.

It centres on Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor), the little boy from the Winnie-the-Pooh stories, who is now all grown up and has lost all sense of imagination. Pooh and his friends re-enter Christopher's life to help him find it again.

Other cast members include: Hayley Atwell as Robin’s wife Evelyn and Bronte Carmichael as his daughter Madelin.

The film hits SA cinemas in August.
