What it's about:

A group of youngsters discover Jules Verne's original manuscript of "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and realise that Verne himself had taken the titular trip. Using the manuscript as a map, the youngsters embark on the same quest.

What the critics say:

"I don't know if 3-D could improve all movies (nothing could make The Love Guru funny), but it sure works here."
Peter Travers, Rolling Stone

"If, at this moment, the child next to you grabs your arm and hollers'"Duck!', the movie will have been worth the ticket price."
Richard Corliss, TIME Magazine

"A movie that's faithful to an idea, and to a sense of adventure, more than to a specific work."
Stephanie Zacharek,

"Probably has the highest screams-per-capita ratio in the history of action-adventure pics, and a better thrill-per-minute deal than most."
John Anderson, Variety

"It's just a lot of fun."
Richard Roeper, Ebert & Roeper
On a quest to find out what happened to his missing brother, a scientist and two friends discover a lost world in the centre of the earth.

Journey to the Center of the Earth There is only one 3D supporting cinema in Cape Town that i know of,and that is in Cavendish,Claremont. The premium price of the movie ticket (R55) was worth it though. This movie is great in 3D!The 3D effects really enhances the movie(The last movie i saw in 3D was years ago,and nothing like this).Really loved the movie.A great adventure, action movie!
