What it's about:

The stars come together again in glittering Las Vegas, battling for a victory that could define their dreams and their careers.

What we thought:

We know what you’re thinking "ugh another Step Up movie!" You’re probably all like "I’m so over it!"

But wait, whoa there, hang on...

Don’t go watch another movie just yet because this popcorn flick is actually the perfect thing to spend your time and money on.

But we know that you don’t believe us so here are 5 reasons the 5th Step Up movie is awesome:

1. It doesn’t take itself too seriously: what we love about this blockbuster is that it knows that it’s a silly movie about a couple of kids in a dance competition and it plays up to it. Expect lots of lines to roll your eyes at and sight gags to make you laugh. It provides a much needed reprieve from all those serious movies vying for the top spot in the up-coming award season.

2. Everyone is pretty to look at: because after a long sand ugly week at work the best thing to treat your eyes to is a slew of 6-packs so hard you could more-than-likely wash clothes on them.

3. All the old stars of past films are back! We know that even though you deny it, you’ve more than likely watched one or all of the movies in this franchise and know some of the stars. Even if you haven’t (we don’t believe you) you should know that the best and brightest stars in the world of dance are on show in these dance routines having starred in them or choreographed them. Which brings up swiftly to our next point.

4. The dance routines: they’re all amazing. They have fire and back flips and tricks that’ll have jumping off your seat in amazement...or, at the very least, smiling.

5. It tries so hard to please you that you can’t help but like it: they have really packed everything that audiences love into this film from romance to drama to comedy. Sure, it doesn’t work all the time, but what does? Just go watch it.

We know you don’t want to go see it but here’s why you should!
