What's it about:

Liam Neeson returns as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, whose reconciliation with his ex-wife is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered. Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, he goes on the run to evade the relentless pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police. For one last time, Mills must use his "particular set of skills" to track down the real killers, exact his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now—his daughter.

What we thought:

Bryan Mills is back and thankfully it’s the last time he’ll be shooting his way through a sea of bad guys to make sure they know that he is not afraid to use  his "particular set of skills".

Jam packed with violence, the killing spree begins as Liam Neeson is put to the test for the last time.

When he starts to reconcile with his ex-wife she is brutally murdered and it is up to him to find out who did it and make sure they don’t get to his first priority in life - his daughter.

This seems difficult at first as Bryan is framed for the crime, but managing to get away from the police, in true Bryan Mills style, the chase is on for Oleg Malankov (the guy who supposedly killed his ex).

An unsuspected twist may be the only thing that saves the movie when Lenore St. John’s  (the ex-wife) husband, who is played by Dougray Scott, takes the spotlight.

Although the film is filled with action, suspense and unexpected events, expect to watch the same timeline as in Taken 1 and Taken 2 unfold as Bryan Mills dominates whoever comes in his way. Not even Chuck Norris could stand a chance.

Filled with great graphics and tone of music composed to keep you on the edge of your seat, the picture may disappoint.

Liam Neeson, Forest Whitaker (the head detective), Maggie Grace – who plays Liam’s beloved daughter- and the rest of the crew however, pull their personas off to a tee.

If you’re looking for an action packed film that you’ve pretty much already seen twice then this is the film for you, otherwise save it for the Sunday night movie on M-net.
