Keith Sweat - Just Me

2008-07-09 06:32
Just Me is a trip in a time machine back to 1980s/1990s new jack swing. The soulful harmonising fused with hip-hop beats that made the Harlem musician famous make for perfect for late-night listening and lovemaking.

Familiar voices and producers return to work with Sweat including new jack swing pioneer Teddy Riley and singer Athena Cage. But he also recognises that new R&B has new faces and voices, collaborating with Keyshia Cole on "Love You Better".

In media reports, Sweat says he wants to give fans what they expect of him. And he does. Unfortunately, you need to be a slow jamz fan to really enjoy Sweat's R&B or appreciate his ninth studio album.
