Maroon 5 - Call and Response: The Remix Album

2009-02-17 08:18
With the success of Songs about Jane and It won't be soon before long it was surely only a matter of time before a remix collection of Maroon 5 songs hit the shelves. This album gathers together most of their well-known hits and adds just enough sugar, spice and sex appeal (like their other songs never had it) for you to pump it up and dance the night away.  Mary J Blige gets the party started by heating up "Wake up Call" while Pharrell Williams adds his funkadelic magic to their huge hit "She will be loved”.

Naturally a great remix CD is incomplete without Tiësto mixing it up the way he knows best. He mixes the smooth pop sounds of "Not Falling Apart" with his trance electronic flavour and the result is mind blowing. Don't be surprised if you hear this in dance clubs all over. Another remix master is Paul Oakenfold who adds his deep hypnotic signature sound to "If I never see your face again". With Rihanna adding her sultry sounds, together the song takes sexy to a whole new level but not without losing that dance spice. Starting off with Oakenfold's signature trance sounds, the song transforms into something totally unexpected all while still keeping that love/hate essence between Adam Levine and Rihanna like it did in the original song. All that can be said is "wow!"

Get up close and personal with this CD and you’ll be enduring pure fantastical bliss on the dance floor.

If you're a fan of the pop rock hotties then this album is definitely one for the collection. Collaborations with some of the industry's finest remixers means this CD doesn't disappoint.
