Seal - System

System still has Seal’s usual “aah aah hum” signature sound, but the songs seem less sentimental when set against the pounding dance backing. This is Seal’s first album without his long-time producer, Trevor Horn. This time around he works with the man behind Madonna’s smash hit, Confessions On The Dance Floor, Stuart Price giving the album more of a party mood. Killer tracks include the super-smooth “Amazing”, “The Right Life” which promises to be a real club banger and the vibe-y “Loaded”.

Apart from the droning ballads such as “Rolling” and “Wedding Day” the rest of the album is very upbeat and is sure to rock any party. “Wedding Day” is a duet with his supermodel wife Heide Klum about their wedding. Though Heide can hold a note her voice is very weak compared to her husband’s smooth vocals.

We fell in love with his seductive tones in the chartbuster “Kiss From A Rose” (remember the 1995 Batman Forever film soundtrack?). Now Seal sexes up the dance floor with elaborate electro house beats. System is sizzling hot! You’ll be shaking your ass like there’s no tomorrow when you hear this British electronic pop busting out of your speakers!
