Stevie Nicks - Crystal Visions...

Firstly it's a 2 for 1 deal; you get a CD as well as a DVD featuring 13 music videos and a never before seen home video of Stevie which was filmed during the making of the five-times platinum album Bella Donna.

The retrospective also includes all time classic tracks "Landslide" and "Edge of Seventeen", live featuring the outstanding Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. A remix of the track "Dreams" by uber-cool US DJ Deep Dish is also featured, it's one of those infectious dance tracks that you listen to while you’re driving and jam to like a lunatic to when you hear it on the dance floor.

It really doesn’t matter how old you are you NEED to listen to Stevie Nicks, she is a legend and one the founding mothers of the whole rock, indie, goth, retro, folk style and sound. She’s influenced everyone from Tori Amos and Sarah McLachlan to Beyonce; the sample hook in her hit song "Bootylicious" is from the "Edge of Seventeen" and if you’re a Nicks virgin this album a great way to be broken in, it’s pretty flawless.

The CD case alone is enough of a reason to buy this album, it's beautifully designed and the jacket is filled with intimate photographs and her personal thoughts on each song. If you’re a diehard Stevie Nicks fan, or never heard of her (shameful) Crystal Visions is must have.
