T.I. - T.I. vs T.I.P.

2007-07-30 14:11
T.I. has once again proven his versatility at throwing down rhymes to any beat, from the fast-paced "Hurt" to the laid back "Raw", slow "My Type" and hard-hitting "Big Shit Poppin'".

But while his flexibility sets him apart from his peers, lyrically T.I. vs T.I.P. disappoints with niggaz shooting up haters, shawty's bootleggin' and hustling, Cali cribs, G4s, Bentley's, drop four-thirty's and hoes making that muney. (Yawn)

‘course, no gangsta rap album would be complete without guest artists. Featured are über producer Jay-Z, heavy-weight Wyclef Jean, ultra-cool Nelly, and even has-been Eminem.

Not all bad, T.I. vs T.I.P. is a collectors item for the die hard fans, but those who were hoping for another platinum-selling, award-winning King will be sadly disappointed.

The battle is on. Southern rapper T.I. squares off against his alter ego T.I.P. on an unfortunately average concept album.
